With years of experience developing top-tier talent, Coach Cam doesn't just teach fundamentals - he instills basketball IQ, discipline, and a winning mindset to each player. Coach Cam brings elite knowledge and leadership to the court every single game, elevating each players potential.

Coach David brings unmatched passion for the game and a deep, strategic understanding of basketball to the club. Known for his infectious passion and dedication to the sport, Coach David creates a culture where players learn faster, play harder, and love every minute on the court.

Demi Akinmoyero
Club Coach

Demi has experience playing high school basketball at St. Joseph High School in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was the Junior MVP in 2023 and the Senior MVP in 2025. He was also a Provincial All Star and All Canadian Nominee. Demi currently plays on the Douglas College Men's Basketball Team and brings a wealth of basketball knowledge/ experience to the club program.

Maleek Womack
Coach / Skills Trainer

Coach Maleek is a dedicated coach, former elite athlete, and passionate mentor committed to helping athletes reach their full potential. A three-time All-Canadian, Maleek earned a scholarship to the University of Regina, where he competed at the U SPORTS level. Prior to university, he played AAU basketball from Grades 5 through 12, building a strong foundation and love for the game. Today, Maleek is a basketball coach who focuses on developing confidence, discipline, basketball IQ, and fundamental skills. His goal is to help every athlete improve both on and off the court by creating a positive, challenging, and supportive training environment.

    Nico Alvarez
    Club Coach

    Nico is a former university athlete and has been with R1ZE Athletic Academy for the past year. He’s worked with kids and youth since 2018 and emphasizes the mental game and personalized player development in his coaching. Nico is currently studying Psychology at Trinity Western University in pursuit of becoming a Sports Psychologist.

    Rebecca Hawkins
    Club Coach

    Rebecca Hawkins is an educator in the Langley School District with extensive experience coaching youth basketball across both secondary school and club levels. She has guided teams through various age groups at Salish Secondary, where she currently serves as the Head Coach of the Senior Girls team.

    Olan Smith
    Youth Development Coach

    Coach Olan brings high energy, elite point guard experience, and a deep passion for player development to the court. A graduate of Burnaby Mountain Secondary, Olan recently completed a standout rookie season as the starting point guard for the Douglas College Men’s Basketball Team in the PacWest. Having played competitive basketball since Grade 9, he combines exceptional court vision, leadership, and a strong work ethic to help young athletes elevate their game and build confidence on and off the court.
